App privacy
Effective 5 November 2026. This policy covers the Coloring Buddies Android app, package com.coloringbuddies.app, version 1.0.1.
A private place to play
The app works offline. It has no internet permission, accounts, advertising, analytics, purchases, chat or social features. We do not collect or transmit personal information, device identifiers, drawings or handwriting through this app.
What stays on your device
Your latest painting, practice stars, puzzle progress and activity choices are stored in the app's private storage. This lets a child return to an unfinished activity. App-managed cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled.
Saving a picture
Save picture opens Android's system file picker. It writes a PNG only to the destination you choose. The app does not request access to your photo library, camera, microphone, contacts or location. If you select a cloud drive in the system picker, that provider may upload the exported picture under its own privacy policy.
Deleting local information
Clear the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app to remove its local drawings, preferences and progress. PNG files you exported remain in your chosen folder; delete those separately. Save pictures you want to keep before clearing app storage.
Children and families
The app is designed for children and their grown-ups. No personal information is requested from children. All included activities and pictures are bundled with the app. A grown-up should handle installation and exported files.
The website is separate
Downloading the APK uses your browser and the coloringbuddies.com website. The website has its own privacy policy; website analytics are not included in the Android app.
